First Day of Institute

We had our first day of institute classes yesterday. There was a daytime class that's going to be studying the words of Isaiah in the Book of Mormon on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3 PM, and at 7 we had President Waldron's Book of Mormon class and Shane's Mission Prep class. We hope to see everyone again next week, as well as some of our brothers and sisters who weren't there this week... you know who you are... 

Opening Social

This Week's FHE

For FHE this week, we had a lesson about priorities from Brad. The object lesson was having someone in the FHE group try to fill a cup with ping pong balls and mulch without the cup overflowing, which showed that it's best to take care of the "big things" first and let the "little things" fall into place. After the lesson, we had donuts "homemade by Shane" (Krispy Kremes) and then went to Fall Fest.

Lukas's Baptism

Lukas was baptized on Friday, August 2nd. We're looking forward to getting to know him better when he comes back to Morgantown for school. Congratulations, Lukas!

Army of Helium FHE

Bishop and Sister Delawder planned the last FHE of the summer last night. We had a great lesson about finding meaning in the storms of life, "Bruce R. McCookies" for the snack, and a series of games called "Army of Helium."
