Kate's Baptism

Kate got baptized in March. I am the worst blogger ever. The institute council president should probably fire me from my calling. Oh wait... I'm the institute president now.

Anyway, Kate was baptized on March 21, 2014. It was an awesome day -- I've never seen anyone so excited to be baptized! Several of her friends from school attended the baptism to support her, and one of them even sang "Amazing Grace." Since her baptism, Kate has become a valued member of our ward family, and is currently serving as a ward missionary. We're super excited to have her in our ward for the next three years as she completes her degree at WVU. We love you, Kate!

Josh's Baptism

Josh, who was baptized on February 6th, is the newest member of our ward. He's a graduate student in the Chemical Engineering department, and one of the smartest (and most humble) people I've ever met. When the Elders were teaching Josh, they would assign him the most complex chapters in the Book of Mormon to read, and he would come back two days later and perfectly explain what they meant. Teaching made easy. :)
